Star International Med was launched in 1999 in Bucharest.
Star International Med's main activity is import and export, production and distribution of ayurvedic remedies and herbal based products which are considered dietary supplements, produced from plant extracts.
We promote the ancient Indian medical system, Ayurveda, with modern technology.
Our production line is in accordance with international quality standards.
The remedies we offer (tablets, syrups, ointments) are produced from plant extracts.
We recently launched a line of natural cosmetics (herbs, skin care products: creams, gels, lotions).

Star International Med aims to promote this great science, Ayurveda, in Romania.
We already started this by launching the Star International Program. This involves launching the range of natural products, the establishment of the Ayurvedic health center, and an active public information on this secular science, done by providing lectures and participating in the symposiums.
At the Ayurvedic health center, we offer our clients a comprehensive program of services which includes ayurvedic diagnosis, personalized treatment recommendation (as we said before, the center of the therapeutic process is the individual and not the disease), explaining the whole process in Ayurvedic terms: the cause of the disease, the triggers, the need for a specific remedy and lifestyle, a proper diet, certain activities that must be achieved.

Ayurveda has spread from Egypt, Greece, ancient Rome, Tibet, China, Russia, Japan and nowadays in Romania with the help of Dr. SHAWKI SALMAN, a specialist in Indian medicinal plants.
In India, ancient people relied predominantly on their exceptional intuitive, exploring the reality manifested through psychic perception capabilities.
In Romania, Indian Ayurveda and medicinal plants were brought by Dr. Shawki Salman, under the guidance of whom prepared Ayurvedic remedies as food supplements which we will present shortly.
Observing the therapeutic techniques and Indian ayurvedic principles of balance correction and rebalancing Vatta-Pitta-Kapha, by purifying and detoxifying the body, we created the AYURMED brand of products.
