For over 5000 years, Ayurveda offers mankind effective remedies. According to research in the early stages of development of this science, more than 2,000 plants are used. At first they used fresh herbs and remedies and with time they have diversified, using formulations and minerals.
Ayurveda has a very precise study of the plant. Each plant is studied considering six specific criteria, this operating system being very accurate and giving us clues on how plants should be used.
Ayurveda has spread from Egypt, Greece, ancient Rome, Tibet, China, Russia, Japan nowadays in Romania by the care of Dr. SHAWKI SALMAN, a specialist in Indian medicinal plants.
In Romania, Ayurveda and medicinal plants were brought by Dr. Shawki Salman under the guidance and in collaboration with Star International Med Laboratories specialists, who prepared ayurvedic remedies as food supplements, creating the AYURMED brand, being respected the therapist technique and Indian ayurvedic principles of correction and rebalance of Vatta-Pitta-Kapha balance.
